ABSTRACT

Objective  To introduce and evaluate the practice of “Internet Plus” new technology for health management of chronic diseases in community in Yichang, and to provide reference for chronic disease patients' health management in community. Methods  Data of hypertensive patients were collected from the national basic public health service system, the big data intelligent sorting system for chronic disease patients in Yichang City, and the basic public health service system in urban areas in Yichang from 2016 to 2020. Data on the discovery, sorting and filing, standardized management rate and blood pressure control of urban hypertension patients were analyzed. The application effect of “Internet Plus” new technology in chronic disease community health management was evaluated. Results  From 2016 to 2020, 15 934 patients with hypertension were found and their health records were established through big and intelligent data in Yichang City, accounting for 93.54% (15 934 / 17 035) of the total. The rate of standardized management in each district increased year by year, with an increase of 8.71% in 2020 compared with 2016, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=1273.30, P2=867.14, P<0.001). Conclusion  Data exchange and sharing among medical institutions at all levels can strengthen the health management of chronic diseases in the community. The “Internet Plus” new technology, integrating the Internet, big data, cloud computing and intelligent terminal technology, can effectively improve the detection, management and treatment rate of chronic diseases, and provide a new direction for the health management of chronic diseases.

ABSTRACT

A bioassay method for inhibiting platelet aggregation in vitro was established to quantify the pharmacological effects of Compound Danshen Tablets and support its quality control. The inhibition of platelet aggregation in rabbit plasma in vitro by Compound Danshen Tablets was used as the experimental system. The titer was calculated by using the method of dose-response parallel lines. As a result, a bioassay for the inhibition of platelet aggregation in vitro by Compound Danshen Tablets was established. Linearity was good in the concentration range of 0.128 g·mL-1 to 0.205 g·mL-1, and the titer of standard Compound Danshen tablets was 7 659 U·g-1 according to the titer definition. This in vitro assay was simple, reliable, reproducible and convenient. The activity of Compound Danshen Tablets in inhibiting platelet aggregation was quantified by potency assay and the quality of different batches was evaluated. The method can be applied for the quality control of Compound Danshen Tablets.

ABSTRACT

Previously, we have reported that CKAP2 is involved in the maintenance of centrosome integrity, thus allowing for proper mitosis in primary hepatocytes. To understand this biological process, we identified the mitosis-specific phosphorylation sites in mouse CKAP2 and investigated CKAP’s possible role in cell cycle progression. Because we observed mouse CKAP2 depletion in amplified centrosomes and aberrant chromosomal segregation, which was rescued by ectopic expression of wild-type CKAP2, we focused on the centrosome duplication process among the various aspects of the cell cycle. Among the identified phosphorylation sites, T603 and possibly S608 were phosphorylated by CDK1–cyclin B1 during mitosis, and the ectopic expression of both T603A and S608A mutants was unable to restore the centrosomal abnormalities in CKAP2-depleted cells. These results indicated that the phosphorylation status of CKAP2 during mitosis is critical for controlling both centrosome biogenesis and bipolar spindle formation.

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the mechanism of Tongjiang granule on treating GERD.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>The rats in the model group received steel wire ring-cardiamyopexy. A steel wire ring was fixed firmly on cardia. The rats in the control group underwent the cardia-plasty plus pylori ligation plus stomach-empty intestine Roux-en-Y anastomosis. The rats were divided into six groups after operations at random, which were fed up respectively with Tongjiang granule of different dosage and perpulsid. No treatment groups were taken as control.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>The experiment showed that Tongjiang granule could lighten or cure RE in the pathology, decrease the hydrochloric acid in gastric juice, in the meantime, increase the motilin in the animal blood. This study indicated that the effect of Tongjiang granule group from experimental research was better than that of the control group (perpulsid).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The effects of Tongjiang granule on treating GERD can be achieved by decreasing the hydrochloric acid in gastric juice, increasing the motilin in blood and promoting the gastric impetus in the animal experiment.</p>

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To observe the effect of Zhimu and Huangqi on increasing heart rate and cardiac hypertrophy, and its bradycardia effect, to evaluate the exercise capacity and response to stimulation and to discuss the use of Zhimu in treating heart failure.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>1. Rats were treated with isoproterenol 1.25 micrograms.kg-1 i.p., and then the increasing of heart rate and the bradycardia effect were measured after administrated with Zhimu or Huangqi for 3 days. 2. Mice cardiac hypertrophy model was established by s.c. ISO 1 mg.kg-1, 2 times per day for 14 days and heart-weight-index was measured after Zhimu and Huangqi was given orally alone or jointly for 14 days. 3. Abdominal aorta banding operation was done in mice and 3 weeks after operation, they were administrated for 2 weeks, and then run-time(exercise capacity), quiet heart rate, ISO response heart rate after i.p. isoproterenol and heart-weight-index were measured. 4. Cardiac hypertrophy model (inject ISO 14 days) mice were administrated for 12 days, and the mortality and dying time of mice in cold (-20 degrees C) and heat(45 degrees C) stimulative condition were observed.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>Zhimu could cut down the increasing of heart rate induced by ISO, decrease significantly heart-weight-index in cardiac hypertrophy mice, reduce the quiet heart rate and prolong the run time in abdominal banding model. Zhimu combined with Huangqi could also improve the ISO response in abdominal banding model mice, reduce the mortality and delay dying time of mice in stimulative condition.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Zhimu combined with Huangqi can slow down heart rate, enhance the reserve force of the heart, and improve the response capacity of cardiac hypertrophy mice in stimulative condition.</p>

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To observe the effect of Zhimu and Huangqi used singly or combinatively on improving experimental cardiac dysfunction, and mainly to observe zhimu's effect on restraining sympathetic nerve and blocking beta-adrenergic-recepter and huangqi's effect of improving hemodynamics on heart failure.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>Two-clib one kidney operation was done to make renal hypertension rat model, 8 weeks after operation, rats were divided into groups and medicated for 6 weeks, and then their heart rate and blood pressure were measured, left ventricle was cannulated to estimate heart function, and heart-weight-index and left-ventricle-weight-index were measured.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>Zhimu could slow rats heart rate obviously, prevent cardiac remodeling, but did not affect cardiac function remarkably; Huangqi could reduce blood pressure, heighten +dp/dtmax and -dp/dtmax remarkably; the combined use of the two drugs could decrease plasma catecholamine concentration, adjust myocardium cAMP content, and improve heart function obviously.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Zhimu and Huangqi can protect experimental cardiac dysfunction, and the combined use is better than the single use, which shows it better to use the two drugs combinatively in treating heart dysfunction.</p>
